Hi, my name is Tony Rook. I'm Head of Sustainability and Environment at Logica UK. Great. So basically, Logica, I think, very interesting to Red Monk and Green Monk at the moment. We didn't really know much about them. Met Tony recently, and it's very clear that here is a systems integrator that is in the midst of a transformation, and they're helping their customers to transform their businesses in a lot of different ways. While some organizations are kind of greenwashing, acting as if they had a real green story, you guys clearly do. Whether we're talking about managing wind farms, whether we're talking about pushing towards smart grids, lots of real and substantive stuff in terms of the sustainability agenda. What I'm actually going to ask you about gets to one of the phenomenon that I've seen in a lot of companies, which is people creating their own jobs. So suppose you want to get a job in sustainability. How do you go about that? One of the things I've found is that people generally create their own. Does that chime with your own experience at all? Yes, it does. Basically, I went traveling as part of a year off from Logica, and out of that I understood what was happening to the environment, saw some of the impacts that man was having, and I took an interest. And I came back and did some investigation on environment. I did some investigation of what our practices were in Logica. I worked out the business case for making things better and more environmentally friendly and saving money at the same time. And from that, I started a program with Logica UK with the blessing of getting us to improve our environment with performance and save money at the same time. Oh, great. But initially speaking, at least, this is kind of something you did off your own back. Yeah. You kind of, you went in on weekends and you were measuring things and looking at things and sort of building your own case so that that then could get the support and buy-in from other management. Is that right? Yeah, that's definitely true. I came in at weekends and did energy surveys, seen how many lights were switched on, what PCs were switched on.

I then went to our estates team and also worked out what the costing was involved and got some of the data so I could back up my case and then took them a business case and said, these are some of the actions we could do, and this is how we could improve our environmental performance, and started small, started with energy saving as a core discipline. And then from that, the success we had with that, with saving money, and in total we've saved millions in the last two years, has broadened to a wider and wider remit. Great. So there you hear it. If you want a green job, roll your own. Thanks very much. Thank you very much.
